Drone filming abroad

Sep 17, 2021 | 0 comments

The principality of Monaco probably has the strictest regulations on filming from a drone anywhere in Europe. Anyone simply wishing to fly a drone weighing more than 500 grams in the state must hold a certificate of authorisation from their Civil Aviation Authority and every flight must be authorised beforehand. To get approval for your drone the operator must provide 19 pieces of information and a Special Activities Manual covering a further 15 issues relating to its use.
